After a very heavy downpour, the sky lifted on the pier and my eyes caught these rather frustrated looking gulls. It made me smile.
Instead of words I use a brush to express what I see or feel at a particular moment in time. I do this through the brush strokes, shapes and colours; and sometimes by adding a little unexpected detail to give the painting particularity.
I was trained in France by a professional artist for many years from the age of 12 and I exhibited my work in Ireland, France and the UK. I have undertaken work on commission and this year, will be painting two murals for an exhibitor at the Chelsea Flower Show.
