This piece was inspired by a beautiful, quiet, evening dog walk through the meadows near my home. The grasses caught my eye as they had turned the lovely warm tones of late Summer.
The large trees in the distance anchor the scene with their deep blues and greens contrasting with the gentle sky. This familiar but ever changing scene connects me with nature, with place and my faithful walking companion.
