I have a fascination for the linear quality and movement of rushes and vegetation in the Autumn against the light reflections on still water. The subtle colours and atmosphere of the subject are a joy to create in acrylic using old ‘tired’ brushes and flicks of paint from a palette knife which gives life to the painting.
