Her dreamy surfaces, created through experimental layering of oil, cold wax, marble dust, and raw pigment, produce textures that echo the Pre-Raphaelite intensity of John William Inchbold's In Early Spring or John Brett's geological precision. Her technique reflects what Ruskin praised in Inchbold: "an astonishing balance of detail and atmosphere," but transformed through contemporary alchemy into something altogether more mysterious.
