Materials: aluminium, wood, 35 Perspex rods, electronics, remote control & mains powered 5 volt power supply
This light sculpture can evoke the ever-changing waves of light in the aurora or a fleeting tropical sunset. It is remote-controlled with 35 elements and can display any one of a large number of pre-programmed moving patterns. The user can change the speed of flow and select their favourite patterns for rapid recall. It uses almost no power – 5 watts – so can be left on for long periods of time.
