Max Eugeni

Max Eugeni is an abstract mixed-media printmaker based in Liverpool. He joins this exhibition after having just achieved runner-up for the ‘People’s Choice Award’ at the Liverpool Art Fair. The work on show is the culmination of his time living and studying in Helsinki, where his experience of a new, vibrant culture, significantly shaped how he makes and thinks about art, and he’s very excited to share this new series of one-off prints. His latest body of work explores the inner workings of the aesthetic experience. His current focus is on the roles of intuition and reason when forming aesthetic taste. He therefore asks you to question your own aesthetic judgement, and give more thought to the reasons behind it.
