Biography

Pat Bull graduated from the University of Gloucestershire in 2010. He began working as a chaser, finishing bronzes at renowned Talos Art Foundry in Hampshire, England. With nearly ten years’ experience finishing sculptures Pat developed a good eye for detail and honed his skills in bronze patina, fine-tuning his skills to create  his own bronze wildlife sculptures.  Pat works primarily in bronze using the lost wax method to create high quality sculpture, working each piece by hand and finishing every bronze with a unique patina sealed with a coat of wax to give them protection and a beautiful deep shine.

Nature and wildlife, particularly birds, are a huge influence on Pat's work.  He aims to capture fleeting moments and the unique personalities of each creature which evokes a sense of movement and life in his sculpture.
